Indoor Sciences, Inc. is an indoor air quality (IAQ) training and consulting firm based in downtown Chicago. Previously the company was named Chelsea Training and was formally linked to Chelsea Group, Ltd. In May of 2007, Chelsea Training was restructured and rebranded as Indoor Sciences. Part of the restructuring brought in three educational websites over from Lab Comparisons, Inc.

Ian Cull Bio

Ian Cull, PE, CIEC, CMC, CIAQP is the President of Indoor Sciences and was elected in 2006 by the membership of the Indoor Air Quality Association (IAQA) to serve on its Board of Directors for a three year term. Mr. Cull was also appointed to serve as an ex-officio board member for the Indoor Environmental Standards Organization (IESO).

Mr. Cull first started in the indoor air quality field in 1995 when joining Chelsea Group, Ltd. an IAQ consulting firm. Mr. Cull has developed and taught numerous seminars, certification courses and customized IAQ presentations reaching well over 1,000 individuals. Mr. Cull is a master trainer for the Indoor Air Quality Association and has taught their Certified Indoor Environmentalist (CIE), Certified Mold Loss Prevention (MLP), and the Fundamentals of Indoor Air Quality and HVAC courses. His in-depth knowledge in all aspects of IAQ and building science make him a highly respected and commended teacher.

Mr. Cull is a professional environmental engineer whose skill in the classroom is based off his vast experience managing a large number of projects focusing on diagnosing and preventing mold and other indoor air quality problems. His experience ranges from IAQ assessments in offices, schools, homes, dormitories, condominiums, hospitals and healthcare facilities. Mr. Cull's is not only proficient in finding IAQ problems, but offering appropriate recommendations to solve the problem and prevent future reoccurrences.

Ian Cull has a Bachelor's of Science degree in Engineering from one of the country's top Environmental Engineering programs at University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana. He is a Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the state of Illinois, a Certified Indoor Environmental Consultant (CIEC), a Certified Microbial Consultant (CMC) and a Certified Indoor Air Quality Professional (CIAQP).

Ian Cull is committed to seeing the entire IAQ industry grow in the right direction. To that end, he spends a great number of hours each week volunteering on committees and boards. Mr. Cull not only volunteers on the Board of Directors of the IAQA and IESO, but also serves on the following committees:
